Origin
From Kangunu Farmers Cooperative Society in Murang'a County, Kenya. Located 140km northwest of Nairobi at 1740m elevation on the Aberdare Mountain slopes. The rich volcanic soils and careful hand-sorting of coffee cherries by farmers contribute to this AA-grade coffee's exceptional quality.
Roast
Light roast (City level) to preserve the vibrant acidity and delicate flavor complexity. First crack achieved at 196°C with a 12-minute roast profile. This approach maximizes the sugar cane sweetness, enhances the citrus brightness, and maintains the floral and spice notes. The light roast allows the terroir-driven characteristics and mouth-refreshing acidity to shine through.
