Nizami, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Nizami Coffee platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share your information.
Information We Collect: We collect information you provide directly, including account details, coffee and equipment records, brewing data, roast information, reviews, and public information from linked social media accounts. We also collect usage data and technical information about how you interact with our platform.
Use of Information: Your data is used to provide and improve our services, generate personalized recommendations, and develop our platform. Importantly, we use your data, including user-provided content and public social media information, to train and improve our artificial intelligence models that power the platform's features.
Data Retention: We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and for optimization purposes, including ongoing improvement of our AI models and platform features.
Third-Party Services: We may share information with third-party service providers who assist with analytics, payment processing, and platform operations. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
AI assistants: You can add nRoast to an AI app, such as Claude or ChatGPT, and allow it on our consent page. That app can then use your Nizami Coffee account through nRoast's tools. It can read and change your coffees, roast profiles, roast records and calendar, run roasting models that spend your credits, and see your balance; it cannot turn on auto-reload. When its assistant calls a tool, the app receives what the tool returns, such as coffees from your library, a roast it designed or a predicted cup, and requests to design, revise or predict a roast are sent to our roasting model service. What the app keeps, and for how long, is governed by its provider's own privacy policy, not ours. Allowing an app gives it a full session for your account until you remove it under Connected apps in your profile, which signs it out; access it already holds can last up to an hour.
nRoast for Claude Desktop (beta): The nRoast Claude Desktop beta runs on your computer and connects your coffee roaster to Claude Desktop. Roaster readings, your nRoast settings and the safety log of commands sent to your roaster stay on your computer unless you save a roast to your account. The beta sends no usage or diagnostic data to us. When you sign in to your Nizami Coffee account from it, your coffee library, roast profiles and saved roasts are stored in your account with our database provider (Supabase), and requests to design or revise a roast are sent to our roasting model service. Claude Desktop receives whatever information its assistant asks nRoast for, such as roaster readings or coffees from your library; its provider handles it under its own privacy policy.
Your Rights: You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may also request a copy of your data or object to certain processing activities. To exercise these rights, contact us at jeff@nizamicoffee.com.
Data Security: We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
Changes to This Policy: We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our platform and updating the effective date.
